If you are based outside the EU, you can, as an associate beneficiary, contribute to a project by taking the necessary steps to achieve the EU`s environmental or climate objectives. Applicants and beneficiaries in the UK will continue to receive LIFE funding for the duration of LIFE 2014-2020 grants, even after the end of the transitional period. This applies to existing grants, ongoing procedures and calls for proposals to be published in 2020, even if the grant is signed after December 31, 2020. 3. Climate Action and Information – The programme funds projects to raise awareness, train and build capacity, comply with legislation and implementation, develop knowledge and engage stakeholders. LIFE provides action grants for information, awareness and dissemination projects on climate issues. These include supporting the development of public policy and stakeholders in EU policy-making, supporting the communication, management and dissemination of information facilitating knowledge sharing and cooperation, promoting and contributing to more effective enforcement of EU climate change legislation, providing training and promoting the development and dissemination of good practices and policy approaches. (ii) Environment and efficient use of resources- LIFE co-finances environmental projects, including air, chemistry, green and circular economy, industrial accidents, marine and coastal resource management, noise, soil, waste, water and urban environment. The program provides action grants for pilot and demonstration projects for the development, development and demonstration of policy or management approaches. It also includes the development and demonstration of innovative technologies, the implementation, monitoring and evaluation of EU environmental policy and legislation, as well as best practices and solutions. In particular, the European Commission is looking for technologies and solutions capable of implementing market-like conditions on an industrial or commercial scale during the duration of the project. Projects are co-financed up to 55%.
